Who We Are

The Rich Marketing team consists of strategic partnerships with marketing, PR and creative specialists let by Court and Karen Rich.

Court Rich brings an analytic, creative and innovative approach to advertising steeped in 20+ years experience working as agency, research firm, and media for hundreds of businesses in varied industries.

Court began his advertising career in 1988 as the Advertising Manager and in-house agency for Raging Waters.  In the amusement park industry, every penny of advertising and promotional support is leveraged and measured by daily attendance.  Court is skilled at mixing multiple media to meet specific sales objectives.

Court went on to work for various 4A agencies and marketing research firms, but his media savvy was honed by 11 years working for cable and broadcast media companies.  With client, agency and media experience, Court brings the ultimate insider’s perspective to creating research driven results oriented campaigns.

Active in the Seattle advertising community, Court has served on the board of directors for the American Marketing Association and Seattle Advertising Federation.  Court has an MBA from Seattle University with an emphasis in marketing.

Court’s subconscious is hard at work on his client’s challenges while he enjoys sailing, cycling, tennis and time with Karen and their two children.



Karen Rich’s 14 years of experience developing unique, non-traditional marketing campaigns complements her ability to creatively integrate multiple media platforms to build solid media campaigns.  Karen also excels at helping clients develop funding through win-win community partnerships and vendor campaigns.

Karen co-founded Rich Marketing following a distinguished eight-year career at Tribune Broadcasting owned television stations Q13 FOX & My Q2.  Karen led the company’s business development efforts as one of Tribune Broadcasting’s only Business Development Managers.  During her tenure, Tribune Broadcasting Northwest developed more new business and non-traditional revenue than any station group in the Tribune Broadcasting family.

Karen began her career at Fisher Broadcasting working in the marketing department and in-house advertising agency for KOMO TV.  Karen worked extensively with the Eckstein Summers consultant group to develop groundbreaking social and cause-related marketing and vendor programs for KOMO TV clients. While at Fisher Broadcasting, Karen also pioneered an innovative talent swap with local radio stations that continues today.

As a leader in her community, Karen has consulted and served on various non-profit Boards in the Seattle area, most recently for organizations such as the Junior League of Seattle and the Seattle Art Museum Supporters.  Karen is also a member of the American Marketing Association and the Seattle Advertising Federation.  Karen is a graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelors degree in Communication and Marketing.
